Dear Friends: Operation Santa Claus is once again preparing a taste-tempting custom cookbook featuring every day favorite recipes from our readers and staff, so send us your favorite “go to” recipes!

You can submit your recipe(s) using the form to the right; or you can download an entry form and either mail it back to us, or send it via email to recipes@tribweb.com. Details about how to purchase the cookbook will be coming soon. Don't wait, all recipes must be submitted by Monday, October 10, 2016.

Proceeds for the sale of the Best Loved Family Recipes Cookbook will benefit Operation Santa Claus, a non-profit organization that works in conjunction with Shop n’ Save/SuperValu and The Salvation Army to deliver holiday meals to thousands of needy families throughout the region.





Q: How do I submit a recipe?
A: To submit a recipe, readers must fill out the form (via the form on the right side of this webpage), or download and fill out the Entry Form (Word doc, attached here (please right click on link and select "save link as") - e-mail instructions included).

Q: Can I submit more than one recipe?
A: Absolutely! But please submit a maximum of two (2) recipes/per category/per person.

Q: Can I mail in a recipe versus doing it online?
A: Yes, you may. However, if handwritten submissions do not include all of the necessary information, or are illegible, the recipe may be disqualified. If you choose to submit your recipe by mail, please be sure to include the appropriate contact info (name, address & daytime phone number) in case we have a question about your submission.

Q: Will all recipes submitted be used?
A: Unfortunately, due to spacing and many similar recipes being duplicated, we will not be able to publish all recipes, but we will include as many as possible!

Q: How will I know if my recipe will be published in the cookbook?
A: Once we design and layout the cookbook, we will send confirmation - either via email or letter - to let you know if your recipe will be included in the cookbook. This notification will occur after October 14, 2016.
